Neighborhood: Wilton Manors

Often referred to as the “Island City”, Wilton Manors is a diverse community approximately 2 square miles in area, just north of downtown Fort Lauderdale.  It’s boundaries follow the north and south forks of the Middle River and is ideally located within minutes to the beach and downtown Fort Lauderdale.  

The City has acquired a great deal of park and open space on the Middle River.  The riverfront parks provide a host of leisure and recreational opportunities.  The Hagen Park Community Center features accommodations for hosting small cultural and performing arts events.

The main traffic in the City or described by locals as "Downtown Wilton Manors" is the Arts & Entertainment District. This short stretch of entertainment is comprised of several local businesses including Georgie's Alibi, Galanga, Rosie's and Bill's Filling Station, to name a few.  Located directly on Wilton Drive are several living accommodations including Belle Isle, Island City Lofts, as well as The Gables.
