After years and years of building ground debates, the Icon Las Olas has finally been approved for construction next door to the historic Stranahan House at 500 E Las Olas Blvd. It is slated to be the tallest building in Downtown Fort Lauderdale at a staggering 42 stories tall (455 feet). The building's developer is the renowned
Related Group. The building will have 272 units and 15,000 square feet of retail space coming to a total of $250 million for the project's development. Icon will be in the premier location with one side facing Riverwalk and one side facing the New River.
